HIROTEC AMERICA Expands Executive Team, Appoints Bob Hayes to Director & Chief Operating Officer
Auburn Hills, MI., August 7, 2019 – HIROTEC AMERICA, a member of the HIROTEC Group, a global automotive supplier specializing in the production of body-in-white closures, exhaust systems, and closure manufacturing equipment, announced the appointment of Bob Hayes to Director and Chief Operating Officer.
Bob has been with HIROTEC for over 15 years and has served as HIROTEC Tooling de Mexico’s President since 2014. During his tenure, Bob significantly increased sales, while doubling HIROTEC Tooling de Mexico’s footprint to include 151,000 square feet of manufacturing and integration space. Bob has also previously held the positions of Controls Manager, Manager of Project Management and Controls, and General Manager.

Effective immediately, Bob will provide strategic direction and executive leadership for HIROTEC AMERICA’s operations. In addition, Jim Toeniskoetter, HIROTEC AMERICA’s current President and previous Chief Operating Officer has been appointed Chief Technology Officer. Jim will use his technical expertise and decades of executive leadership to oversee Research and Development, Sales, and Information Technology.
