Brian McGinnity, HIROTEC AMERICA's CFO, is named CFO of the Year Finalist
Auburn Hills, MI., May 24, 2011 – HIROTEC AMERICA, Inc. (HAI), an automotive supplier specializing in closure bodyshop assembly tooling and hemming systems, announces their Chief Financial Officer, Brian G. McGinnity will be honored by Crain’s Detroit Business as a CFO of the Year finalist on June 15th at the Shriners Silver Garden Event Center in Southfield.

In 1992, Brian McGinnity joined HIROTEC AMERICA as the Controller. He was the 10th person hired and was integral in the growth of the company to over 400 employees and $100 million in sales. Appointed as Chief Financial Officer in November, 2008 and Director in June, 1998, Brian is responsible for all Financial, Human Resources, and Administrative operations. He also oversees all global financial transactions and strategic planning for the entire organization.
McGinnity received dual Bachelor of Science degrees in Accounting and Information Systems from Ferris State University. He is a certified public accountant and a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, as well as the Michigan Association of Certified Public Accountants.
He is also an active member of the financial community. Currently, Brian serves as Board of Director and Past President for Automation Alley, as well as a board member of the endowment fund committee. Brian is also on the community foundation board and economic development board for the City of Auburn Hills.
