HIROTEC AMERICA Announces New Vice President of Business Development
Auburn Hills, MI., July 14, 2009 –HIROTEC AMERICA, Inc. (HAI), an automotive supplier specializing in closure bodyshop tooling and hemming systems, announced that Gary Krus will be taking a new role as Vice President of Business Development effective July 1, 2009.
In this new role, Gary will be responsible for the creation and execution of strategic and tactical plans for sales in non-traditional markets. He will also be responsible for leading the research and development team to bring new, innovative products and processes from conception to commercialization.
“As VP of Business Development, Gary will explore innovative equipment and services that meet the needs of new and existing customers. Gary’s proven ability to introduce breakthrough technology and his knowledge of customers in diverse industries will help HIROTEC penetrate new and existing markets,” said Katsu Uno, Chairman and Chief Executive Officer.
Gary joined HIROTEC AMERICA in 1993 as a Controls Engineer and was first promoted to General Manager in 1999. Since then Gary has been promoted several more times, holding various positions within the company, such as Vice President of Engineering and Vice President of TMS.
