HIROTEC AMERICA Announces Recent Organizational Changes

Auburn Hills, MI., February 8, 2017 – HIROTEC AMERICA, Inc., a member of the global HIROTEC Group that specializes in the production of body-in-white closures, exhaust systems, and closure manufacturing equipment, announced the promotion of Phil Zanolli to the role of Vice President of Operations effective February 1, 2017.

Mr. Zanolli has over 25 years of automotive knowledge with experience in Design, Sales, Project Management, Operations, and Leadership. As Vice President of Operations, Mr. Zanolli will spearhead the strategic development and execution of HIROTEC AMERICA’s local operations.

“Since joining our team in 2000, Phil’s recognizable contributions to HIROTEC AMERICA’s operations have been invaluable,” said Jim Toeniskoetter, HIROTEC AMERICA President and COO. “As HIROTEC AMERICA continues to grow, Phil will be instrumental in implementing operational management to guarantee quality, delivery, and safety, while continuing to reduce costs.”

In addition, HIROTEC AMERICA promoted Mr. Jerry Lovelace and Ms. Tomomi Nitta to General Managers. Mr. Lovelace started his career at HIROTEC AMERICA in 1993, and since then he has held positions in Design, Manufacturing, and Hemming operations. In his new role as General Manager of Operations, Mr. Lovelace will be responsible for managing the day-to-day operational activities to achieve HIROTEC AMERICA’s goals and objectives.

Ms. Tomomi Nitta started in 1996 as a Japanese translator, and after achieving her Bachelor of Science degree, grew through the organization and has held various positions and managerial roles in Project Management, Hemming, Die Engineering, and Die Execution. In Ms. Nitta’s new position as General Manager of Die Engineering & Execution, she will be responsible for leading HIROTEC AMERICA’s Stamping Die team as well as successfully launching the new die tryout center.
